Start your weekend off right with Party Waves. Collaborating with Lads Without Labels and Bacon Brothers, we're bringing back another Party Waves.

Join us for a sunrise surf at 8am by the New Brighton Beach pier. Then warm up alongside the Bacon Brothers team who'll be providing a BBQ breakfast from 8-10am. Stick around, meet some new people, and most of all have a great morning!

Party Waves for Mental Health is an initiative between Lads Without Labels, CUBA and the team at Bacon Bothers, aiming to encourage healthy strategies for better mental wellbeing through reconnecting with the ocean and the outdoors.
When we are younger, we often spend a lot more of our time outside and enjoying the ocean, but life often gets in the way, especially at University, and we lose touch of the benefits that the moana brings to our well-being. Party Waves offers a perfect space to do just this, whilst providing a safe and wholesome morning to meet people.

So even if you don’t surf, come on down, catch the sunrise, refresh your wairua and have a yarn over some Bacon Bros!

Frothing for a day at the beach that actually does some good? We’ve got you covered with CUBA’s Clean Up & Surf — a day of sandy missions, good yarns, and getting amongst it out at New Brighton. We’re teaming up with the legends at SVA to bring you the ultimate combo: help clean up the coast then get rewarded with some quality time chasing waves.

Rally your mates, dust off your amateur surf skills (or just your trash-picking enthusiasm), and get keen for a day that’s guaranteed to leave you salty, stoked, and maybe a little sunburnt.

If you’ve got a car, meet us at New Brighton; if you don’t, no stress — drag yourself down to USCA and we’ll sort you out with a ride in the SVA provided wagons . Too easy, no excuses.

We’ll hook you up with all the good stuff, wetties, and some top-tier banter to keep the vibes high. Plus, there’ll be snags sizzling to keep you fuelled for the sesh.
